The beginning of life is a mysterious event. It is amazing that the combination of two gametes results in the development of such complex creatures, as we humans are. The sex of a person, which also determines his/her fate to
a certain extent, is determined at fertilisation. The male and female bodies are similar in many respects, but the anatomy of the male and female reproductive systems differs.
