Around 3000 BC a new age of mankind started. Neolithic villages were replaced by cities, states, and empires. Due to the development of production methods, there were plenty of resources, much more than necessary for the mere survival of people. As a sign of the development of civilisations, huge constructions were started. These structures were mostly associated with gods or rulers who were considered gods.
